“You didn't comment. Was it your decision? Your family's? Why did you decide that?” – the journalist asked the artist’s daughter.
“When dad went to the hospital, we were always with him, all these months we sat next to him in the ward, talked a lot. I somehow closed myself off. I couldn’t comment, I couldn’t even read. It all hurt me,” admitted Kvitoslava Giga.
She noted that during that period she did not go to social networks at all.
“I'll tell you the truth – even until the last time [не заходила]. After 40 days, I already started to progress a little. It was painful for me to watch the video and remember. It was very difficult actually. That’s why it’s like that,” she said.

Stepan Giga was born on November 16, 1959 in the village of Belki, Transcarpathian region. He is People's Artist of Ukraine (2002). Gigi's discography includes five albums. The artist’s most famous hits are “Yavorina”, “My Friends”, “Dream”.
