A Zavecz Research survey published on Tuesday showed that TISZA currently enjoys 35 percent. support, while Fidesz can count on 29 percent. votes. The pollster noted that the electoral base of Hungary's most important opposition party currently numbers 2.8 million people, recalling that in 2022, 3 million votes gave the Fidesz-KDNP coalition a two-thirds majority of seats in parliament.

Zavecz also found that the percentage of undecided voters was 22 percent. population, estimating that most of them will probably not vote in the elections scheduled for April 2026.

A Republikon poll conducted at the end of October gave the same result TISZY 44 percent support, and Fidesz – 34 percent. In both surveys, TISZA enjoys an advantage of approximately half a million votes over Prime Minister Orban's party.

The authors of the Policy Solutions think-tank survey cited by the Telex portal noted that the assessment of the economic situation in the country differs in large cities, where it is more positive, and in the provinces. They pointed out that this was a threat to Fidesz, which draws support primarily from smaller centers.

The think-tank also showed that, in the opinion of Hungarian society, Orban's rule since 2010 has hindered rather than supported Hungary's development. The majority of society already six months ago considered Magyar a more suitable candidate to lead the country than Orban, and since the last polls, trust in the opposition leader has increased, especially among those who were previously undecided – wrote the Telex text.
