“Diabetes played a decisive role and an infection that, unfortunately, the body could not cope with. We fought for two and a half months, we tried, but what happened happened. And it’s hard to talk about it and remember and experience this pain. In fact, I still can’t believe that we couldn’t overcome this disease,” said Kvitoslava Giga.
She added that until recently the family believed that everything would be fine with Stepana Giga.
“We were there near him in the hospital. We went to see him, well, it happened, they asked us to leave and that’s it,” she said.
