“Today, our rescuers fought the consequences of the Russian strike on the Poltava region, Kremenchug. It was a combined blow, absolutely vilely thought out precisely against our civil infrastructure – energy infrastructure,” Zelensky said.
He noted that the invaders launched not only missiles (winged, ballistic and aeroballistic), but also Shahed drones – to complicate the work of Ukrainian air defense.
“A significant part of the missiles and drones managed to knock down. People were not injured. But, unfortunately, there is damage to the energy infrastructure. And this is a Russian spit on everything that is trying to do the international community to stop this war,” the President of Ukraine said.
Zelensky noticed that this happened after the conversation of the illegitimate President of Russia Vladimir Putin with US President Donald Trump.
“After the Americans asked us not to beat Russian energy objects. And when Putin himself tries to portray himself as an intermediary for the Middle East and tries to somehow help his accomplices in Tehran. This is all so cynical … every night-Russian shots. On the night of June 15, according to the head of the Poltava ova, Vladimir Kogut, Russian invaders made a massive combined attack on Kremenchug. Energy and agricultural infrastructure facilities fell under the blow. A private residential building, a car and a line of electric networks were also damaged. As a result of direct hits and falls of debris, fires arose.
In the air forces of the Armed Forces notedthat Kremenchug was the main direction of the night enemy attack.
