In 5 months, a Krasnoyarsk resident committed 26 thefts worth about 2 million rubles (video)

A 33-year-old resident of Krasnoyarsk will appear in court for a series of thefts. The crimes were committed between May and September 2025 in different areas of the city, police said.
The attacker mainly operated in the entrances of residential buildings: from there he stole 10 bicycles, 3 electric scooters and 1 km 700 m of cable from electrical panels. The man also stole property from a pawn shop and power tools from a construction site.

Law enforcement officers established the involvement of a previously convicted Krasnoyarsk resident in 26 episodes of theft, the total damage amounted to about 1 million 800 thousand rubles. He handed over his loot to pawn shops and non-ferrous metal collection points.
Some of the property was confiscated and returned to its rightful owners. The accused is taken into custody.
Currently, a criminal investigation is underway under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft” is completed. The defendant faces the following types of punishment: wtraffic in the amount of up to 200 thousand rubles; or compulsory, corrective or forced labor; or imprisonment for up to 5 years.
