Krasnoyarsk residents were told how the city will be decorated for the New Year

In Krasnoyarsk, streets, squares and road junctions are beginning to be decorated for the New Year. As the mayor's office said, more than 200 different decorative elements will be installed throughout the city, including transmitting the richness and originality of Russian culture.

BOMost of them were manufactured at the city enterprises “UZS” and “Krasnoyarskgorsvet”, some were modernized since last year, and some were designed and assembled according to our own sketches.

New items will be New Year's light figures on the transverse streets of the historical center – Karatanov, 9 January and Perenson – landscaped for the 400th anniversary of the city. For the holidays, figures in the form of crystals, a book and a congratulatory stand will be installed there, and the trees along the streets will be decorated with garlands.

On the main streets of each district, dividing islands, stripes, large lawns along the roads and small roundabouts will decorate thewooden houses, snowflakes, Christmas trees of various shapes with pendants, decorative boxes with gifts with and without lighting. Large intersections and larger roundabouts will be decorated with glowing balls, Christmas trees, stars and snowflakes. Total More than 40 such elements will be installed in the city.

“For the first time, specialists made three-dimensional figures of hares, andcity ​​overpasses ukrasyat banners. Trees and shrubs along major streets and public spaces will be decorated with net garlands. On the Central Embankment, according to tradition, there will be a “corridor” of frames, garlands and luminous trees. A large light figure will again be installed at the intersection of Kopylova and Godenko streets,” the mayor’s office said.

The first New Year's decorations will begin to appear at junctions, along streets and roads from December 8th. Most of the decorations in the city will be installed by December 25, and large three-dimensional figures will be installed as they become available closer to the New Year holidays. ​​
