A teacher and two former students are suspected of serious crimes of rape and sexual assault. Six house searches took place on Friday morning in the counties of Maramureș and Satu Mare.

The action is carried out by the policemen of the Criminal Investigation Service, under the coordination of the prosecutor from the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Baia Mare District Court, according to a press release from the Maramureș County Police Inspectorate.
“This morning, the police are executing six home search warrants, in the counties of Maramureş and Satu Mare”, IPJ Maramureș sent.
The investigators state that the searches are aimed at documenting the criminal activity of three people. One of them is a teacher in an educational institution, and the other two are former students.
“The searches are aimed at documenting the criminal activity of three people, one of whom is a teacher of an educational institution, and the other two are former students. The purpose of the action is to document the criminal activity, discover and seize the assets resulting from criminal activities, with a view to ordering legal measures”, the authorities stated.
The operative activities are carried out with the support of the fighters of the Special Actions Service, the policemen from the Criminalistics Service, as well as colleagues from the Satu Mare County Police Inspectorate.
The investigations are ongoing, and the investigators are to establish all the circumstances in which the acts were allegedly committed.
