The governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory promised to make personnel decisions on schools where attacks occurred

Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov promised to make personnel decisions regarding employees of educational institutions where attacks on schoolchildren were recorded by the end of the week.

The head of the region held today, February 5, an operational headquarters with the heads of municipalities, dedicated to emergency incidents in schools in Kodinsk and Krasnoyarsk. The event was also attended by law enforcement officers and heads of educational institutions.

“We were talking about two cases of schoolgirls attacking classmates, the results of the inspection and the need to prevent such situations. The participants proposed a number of measures, in particular, to audit schools for bullying and other illegal actions, strengthen the work of psychological services of educational institutions, provide monthly training for teachers in emergency situations, and develop uniform requirements for security guards of educational organizations,” the press service noted.

According to the governor, schools need to strengthen the informal approach to solving problems and build an individual attitude towards each child and work with parents. The Ministry of Education, together with the heads of municipalities, will have to identify the best practices of such work and replicate them throughout the region.

“Mikhail Kotyukov instructed to conduct conversations with schoolchildren within three weeks as part of the “Talk about Important Things” lessons, in cooperation with law enforcement agencies, explaining the consequences, including legal ones, of deviant behavior,” the press service explained.
