Ukraine presented its new weapon about as it said has already been used on the battlefield and claims it can be successfully used against drones, helicopters, airplanes, cruise missiles and ballistic.

The Ukrainian Tryzub laser system, which translates Trident, was also tested and Colonel Vadim Suharevski, the commander of Ukrainian forces of unanswered systems (SBS) presented how the equipment works at a conference, notes Defense Express.

In the present clip, the military official shows how the laser system acts, during the tests most likely, notes the Ukrainian publication, and the way it is guided with the help of a Joytisck.

According to Defense Express, the Laser Trident system has been used to counteract a FPV drone.

For the first time, detailed information on the Ukrainian laser system of the Laser System was also announced:

  • “The destruction of attacks, air bombs, cruise and ballistic missiles is possible at a distance of up to 3 km;
  • destruction of drones, helicopters and even planes – at a distance of up to 5 km;
  • Optical jamming / suppression of drones, cruise missiles, helicopters and planes – at a distance of up to 10 km. ”

Other details about Trident, especially about the stage of implementing the project of creating a Ukrainian laser system, have not been revealed.

In addition, in the same video was shown for the first time the new Ukrainian surface drone Alligator 9 with the Tryzub 90 installed laser system, which is positioned as an anti-naval system.

The Ukrainian colonel had announced in early February that the Kiev army is already using laser -based technologies to hit Russian targets. Then, Suharevski said that Tryzub can bring aircraft at altitudes that exceed 2 kilometers.

The commander declared for the first time in mid -December 2024 that Ukraine is among the few nations with laser weapons.
