In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, residents aged 18 to 49 years can undergo free reproductive health screening in clinics and antenatal clinics at the place of attachment.
The press service of the regional Ministry of Health reported that the examination carried out within the framework of compulsory medical insurance as an additional area of medical examination with the support of the national project “Family”.
“Reproductive screening is an effective tool that allows you to identify potential problems at an early stage and take timely measures to maintain health and well-being. Many diseases, infections, and hormonal disorders can develop hidden, without causing discomfort, but at the same time causing irreparable harm to reproductive health. Therefore, it is very important to undergo examinations on time,” said the regional Minister of Health Alexey Konovalenko.
The examination is carried out in two stages: for men – in clinics, for women – in antenatal clinics. Primary screening includes an examination by a gynecologist for women and a urologist or surgeon of appropriate competence for men, as well as tests. Also with 2026 Every five years, screening for women includes the determination of human papillomavirus (HPV) DNA.
If abnormalities are detected after the first screening, patients will be sent to the second, more in-depth stage of the examination.
