power engineers held a New Year's holiday for residents of Verkhnyaya Bazaikha in Krasnoyarsk / Society news of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory / Newslab.Ru

The Siberian Generating Company organized a cheerful yard celebration with Father Frost, Snow Maiden, games and competitions in the park on Borisevich Street.

The choice of location for the event was not accidental. In the summer, power engineers carried out a large-scale overhaul of heating systems in the courtyard of nearby houses.

“This year we have done a lot of work here to improve the reliability of heat supply – we have replaced all the existing heating networks. Now Verkhnyaya Bazaikha receives heat and hot water through a new pipeline, and we confidently face the winter, which has already been marked by severe frosts. I thank the residents for their patience and understanding during the renovation – everything was done to ensure that their homes were always warm and comfortable,” said Sergei Ivanov, director of the Krasnoyarsk Heating Network (a division of the SGC in Krasnoyarsk).

It should be noted that in this area, energy workers replaced more than 1 kilometer of pipelines and reconstructed 5 thermal chambers. This work is part of a large city program to modernize the heating infrastructure, which SGK has been implementing since 2020. This year, about 50 km of heating networks have been replaced, reconstructed and built in Krasnoyarsk, and over the past five years the total length of updated mains has exceeded 300 km.

Work on Birisevich Street ensured reliable heat supply and uninterrupted supply of hot water to a dozen residential buildings. After the renovation, the area was landscaped: new asphalt was laid, curbs were installed, and pedestrian areas were installed. The energy workers will return to areas that require improvement in the spring.

For energy workers, the holiday was not only a gift to the townspeople, but also an opportunity to receive feedback.

“You are true masters of your craft. Now we are absolutely sure that we are not afraid of any gusts and the warmth will warm our houses in any frost,” noted the chairman of the council of the house on the street. Birisevicha, 1 “v” Yulia Kuzina, thanking the head of the heating network for the high-quality work completed on time.

At the event, Sergei Ivanov spoke about other projects of the Company, in particular, about the environmental modernization of the Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1, which supplies heat and hot water to this area. The reconstruction of the station has been carried out within the framework of the federal project “Clean Air” of the national project “Ecological Well-Being” since 2018. A new chimney with a height of 275 meters has already been built, 13 modern electric precipitators have been installed, capturing more than 99% of dust, two new boiler units have been put into operation, and next year it is planned to launch two turbines.

While some discussed issues of heat supply and ecology, others enthusiastically participated in games, danced, warmed themselves by outdoor fireplaces, and the children communicated with fairy-tale characters: Santa Claus, Snow Maiden, polar bear and snowman.

“I really enjoyed the holiday. It is interesting not only for children, but also for adults. Not everyone has the opportunity to go to the city for holiday festivities. And here the holiday is next to the house, it’s very good and the kids are happy,” noted a resident of the house on the street. Birisevicha, 1 “g” Irina Puzyreva.

“Wonderful holiday. Very beautiful Father Frost and Snow Maiden. It was fun, a lot of people gathered, kids came running from all over the house. “Very great, thank you for the holiday,” a resident of the house on the street shared her impressions. Verkhnyaya, 5 “B” Galina Solovyova.

The highlight of the event was a giant glowing robot that danced with the kids and put on a smoking show.
