Donald Trump was asked by a reporter how he would characterize his relationship with Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron at the moment.
He was also asked if he had spoken to them following his social media post earlier in the day, an apparent reference to his criticism of Britain's Chagos Islands deal.
“No, I haven't spoken to them, but I think I get on very well with them”Trump said, according to skynews.
“They always treat me well. Sometimes they get a little rough when I'm not around, but when I am, they treat me really nice. And, you know, I like them both.”Trump said.
On the other hand, Trump also commented on the situation related to Greenland, stating that things will “solve quite well”.
A reporter asked him about the tariffs he might impose on Europe if it does not support his plan to acquire the island.
“We have many meetings scheduled on the topic of Greenland. We are leaving tonight, as you know, for Davos, and we have many meetings scheduled on the subject of Greenland. And I think things will work out pretty well.” said the American leader.
