Belbită fought for the last time in the cage in 2021, when she defeated Hannah Goldy in a gala in the famous MMA circuit, UFC. Diana Belbită recently became a UFC sports analyst for SportsNet. The fighter demonstrated that she learned English very quickly, although she, 5 years ago, when she left Romania, did not know the language at all.
“Five years ago I left Romania without knowing English. Yesterday was my first day as a sports analyst in the UFC for SportsNet. Doing interviews and being live on TV, speaking in a language I barely learned, is a huge challenge. I will definitely make mistakes, but every step will help me learn and become better,” Diana Belbită wrote on her Facebook page.
Diana Belbiță is a fighter of Romanian origins in the UFC, the most important MMA promotion. Belbită competes in the flyweight category and is nicknamed the “fighting princess”. Belbita has achieved some important victories in the UFC.
The fighter from Romania has 15 wins and 10 defeats in the circuit. Six of the victories were achieved by knockout, 4 by submission, and 5 of her victories were “decided” in the first round of the fight. The Romanian settled in Canada to develop her sports career.
She also had a few televised appearances on shows in Romania, such as Exatlon Romania, broadcast by Kanal D, being part of the famous team and Ferma – Un nou opustin, broadcast by PRO TV, where she was a semi-finalist.
