In Krasnoyarsk, facades of houses in the historical part of the city are being prepared for major repairs

In Krasnoyarsk, the facades of 60 houses in the historical part of the city began to be prepared for major renovations. The mayor's office spoke about this.

The work will be carried out as part of the preparation of Krasnoyarsk for the 400th anniversary. In addition to repairing the facades, the contractor will also have to refurbish some of the roofs of the houses. Roofs were included in the list of works if their condition affects the condition of the façade of the house.

Contractors should be on site in early March. By this time, management companies and homeowners associations must temporarily free the facades and roofs of houses from signs, advertising, cables and air conditioners. Also, management organizations will have to provide access to attics, organize places for placing scaffolding, materials, equipment, and work with apartment owners on the issue of access to balcony slabs, which are considered part of the facades. They have already received the relevant notifications.

The regional capital repair fund will organize the capital repair work as part of the implementation of a long-term capital repair program.

The plan included houses located in the historical part of the city, as well as along major main streets. The addresses of the houses were determined by a special commission.

Let us remind you that in total, in preparation for the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, it is planned to tidy up the appearance of 180 houses. Most of them will be repaired as part of the planned overhaul work organized by the regional fund. In houses where the regional fund cannot carry out such work for one reason or another, the owners and managers of organizations were invited to participate in a competition to receive subsidies from the city budget.

All work on the preparation plan for the 400th anniversary should be completed in 2028.
