Russian airstrikes killed two people near Kharkiv. A sanatorium for children was also targeted

New Russian airstrikes left at least two dead and three wounded near Kharkiv, in northeastern Ukraine, the regional governor, Oleg Sinegubov, announced on Tuesday morning, AFP notes.

“We currently know that two people have been killed in enemy attacks on the outskirts of Kharkiv”Oleg Sinegubov wrote on the Telegram social network, according to Agerpres, which cites the international news agency.
The governor had warned the population during the night about a “enemy drone threat”.
Inside the regional capital, a drone attack targeted a children's sanatorium in the Shevcenkivskii district, said Igor Terehov, the mayor of Kharkiv – Ukraine's second most populous city before Moscow's February 2022 invasion.
According to the first available information, the attack in this district caused no victims, Sinegubov described, without explicitly mentioning the sanatorium.
And in the Zaporozhye region (southeast), there were heard “EXPLOSION” related to a Russian attack, local governor Ivan Fedorov reported on Telegram.
In Kyiv, the head of the local military administration, Timur Tkacenko, urged residents to be cautious in the face of an attack by “ballistic missiles” Russian in progress.
