Krasnoyarsk municipal services are intensively clearing the city of snow, which has been falling almost continuously since Monday evening.

As the SATP said, the maximum amount of special equipment was used to clean the roads at night:

“We started continuous mechanized sweeping immediately with the onset of precipitation. KDM shoveled and swept the snow, and also treated the road surface with de-icing material. The work was carried out cyclically along the entire length of the main city highways. Sidewalk equipment swept away snow from walkways. At the same time, snow was removed from the roads and the chute areas were cleared. They worked in large groups on the streets of Sverdlovskaya, Kalinin, Akademika Kirenskogo, Baykitskaya, Dubrovinskogo, Ada Lebedeva, Respubliki and others.”

It is reported that snow removal will continue during the day, with special attention being paid to pedestrian areas.

Road workers ask drivers to be careful, obey the speed limit, and treat the operation of municipal equipment with understanding and respect.
