Investigation at a kindergarten in Baia Mare, after a child was injured by a wardrobe that fell on him
The Maramureş County School Inspectorate (ISJ) started an investigation at the Kindergarten with an extended schedule “Otilia Casimir” from the municipality of Baia Mare after a preschooler was injured on the head by a closet that fell over him.

The accident occurred while the child, accompanied by educators, was getting dressed to be picked up by his parents.
“The wardrobe detached from the wall, and the little one was hit in the head area. The unfortunate event happened while the preschooler was getting ready to go home with other children. The teachers intervened immediately, the parents were notified, and the child was transported to the Emergency County Hospital for medical investigations. The health status of the little one is good”stated Mihai Pop for AGERPRES.
He added that he is in permanent contact with the parents and the kindergarten administration and follows the evolution of the child's health.
At the same time, the general school inspector stated that the furniture in the respective kindergarten is to be completely changed.
