Near Krasnoyarsk, an ambulance was unable to get to the house due to a large amount of snow

In the Yemelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, rescuers had to carry an injured woman on a stretcher across a snowy area to an ambulance.

The incident happened onlate evening on April 21 at Kacha station. A 42-year-old local resident stepped out onto the porch of her private home, slipped and fell, sustaining a broken spine. But the doctors who arrived on call were faced with an insurmountable obstacle: due to the large amount of snow, they could not drive up to the house. Unable to transport the victim themselves, they were forced to turn to rescuers for help.
“Employees of the Krasnoyarsk search and rescue team quickly arrived at the scene of the incident. Showing professionalism, they carried the injured woman on a stretcher for more than a kilometer across snowy terrain. After that, she was transferred to the emergency medical team for further hospitalization,” the department said.
