Women stabbed on the subway in Paris, in three different stations

A man armed with a knife stabbed three women on the subway in the French capital on Friday, according to AFP and Le Figaro. The suspect was apprehended a few hours later.
The attacks took place in the République, Arts et Métiers and Opéra metro stations between 16:15 and 16:45 (17:15 – 17:45 Romanian time).
The alleged attacker had fled from the scene of the incidents, but was apprehended in the meantime, in his home in Sarcelles.
The victims have superficial injuries and their lives are not in danger.
The suspect, described as “skinny, of African descent and wearing a khaki coat”, first attacked a woman with a knife at République station and then continued his attacks at Arts et Métiers and then Opéra stations. He was caught by the authorities a few hours later.
The individual, born in 2000, was known to the police for various crimes, the Paris Prosecutor's Office told Le Figaro.
Authorities are not considering the possibility of a terrorist attack at this time.
