The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland announced the conversation between the presidents in a post on the X platform.
“Today, there was another telephone conversation between the President of the Republic of Poland, Karol Nawrocki, and the President of the United States, Donald Trump. At the beginning, the presidents wished each other a Merry Christmas,” it was reported.
It was added that “later in the conversation, Karol Nawrocki and Donald Trump touched on the state of transatlantic relations and security in the region in connection with the ongoing war in Ukraine caused by the Russian Federation – in particular, the progress of peace arrangements was discussed.”
As indicated in the entry, Poland's participation in the work of the G20 group, Polish-American economic cooperation and energy issues were also discussed.
The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland noted that the conversation took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
