In April, CBOS, as every month, asked people working, including casual and part -time working time, about the current and expected situation in their workplaces and a sense of security of employment.

Since October last year, the percentage of negative grades (currently 11 percent, from March, by a percentage point) is quite stable.

The assessment of the current situation in the workplaces is clearly differentiated by the sector of the economy in which the respondents work, and – as in previous months – the situation in their workplace worse than the others perceive those working in private agriculture.

Forecasts for the development of the situation in workplaces in the next year are less optimistic than in March.

The study also showed that the fifth month in a row the sense of employment security and the threat of loss of current work persists at a similar level. In April, almost three -quarters (74 percent, in relation to March, a decline at 1 p.) Working did not take into account the possibility of losing their current job, i.e. dismissal, bankruptcy, liquidation of the workplace, farm, etc., and just over one -fifth (22 percent, the same as in March). Four out of one hundred respondents evaded the answer to this question (4 percent, increase by 1 percentage).

Compared to March, the assessment of the situation on local labor markets has deteriorated a bit – by 4 p. It has been convinced that in their town or surroundings you can find a job (currently 63 percent), and 2 p. At 2 p. A group of evaluating the assessment of the situation increased (currently 12 percent).

The study was carried out from 3 to 13 April 2025 on a sample of 1030 people (including: 65.5 percent by the CAPI method, 19.9 percent – Cati and 14.6 percent – CAWI). (PAP)
