In the Motyginsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 15 hectares of illegally alienated land were returned to the state at the request of the prosecutor’s office.
According to the press service of the supervisory agency, district administration officials leased 15 hectares of the Greben tract to a local resident for haymaking and agricultural work.
“But the norm for running a personal subsidiary plot is strictly limited to 2.5 hectares. And so the “gift” turned out to be six times more generous than the law allows. Without bidding, at a symbolic price and without competitors. Anything over the limit must be put up for auction so that anyone can compete for the valuable land. But here this important step was “forgotten” – explained the prosecutor's office.
Having discovered a discrepancy during the inspection, the supervisory agency informed the head of the district administration representation demanding termination of the deal and return of the land. But The municipality ignored the demand.
PThe prosecutor filed a lawsuit to declare the lease agreement invalid and return 15 hectares of land to the state.
The requirements have been satisfied. The site was returned to the municipality.
