It is reported that Tamanneftegaz is the operating company of the Taman transshipment complex for transshipment of crude oil, petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gases.
“A series of explosions have been recorded. Damage to the pipeline, two berths and two ships and a fire on an area of more than 1 thousand m² and at least one ship are known to have been damaged. In addition, a fire broke out on the territory of the tank farm,” the report said.
As indicated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the terminal is part of the energy rear of the Russian Federation and supports the financing and logistics of military operations of the Russian occupiers.
The Tamanneftegaz offshore oil terminal was hit by attack drones, sources in the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Region told RBC-Ukraine and Interfax-Ukraine.
According to them, as a result of the attack, elements of the equipment of the oil terminal, the berth of liquefied hydrocarbon gases and port infrastructure were damaged, which led to a large-scale fire.
Military intelligence noted that the Taman transshipment complex is one of the largest in the Black Sea region.
The total volume of the tank farm for petroleum products and liquefied gas is more than 1 million m³.
The terminal is located 6 km from the illegally constructed road-railway bridge across the Kerch Strait.
In addition, the Ukrainian defense forces, using a Ukrainian-made missile, hit a temporary base for watercraft of the 92nd brigade of river boats in Olenovka (Crimea), which resulted in a significant fire, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces added.
Also, with the aim of partially disrupting the enemy’s logistics support system in the Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk region, the Ukrainian military hit an ammunition depot of a motorized rifle regiment (Ukrainsk). According to preliminary information, the target was destroyed, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces emphasized.
“In order to partially destroy stocks of attack UAVs and reduce the intensity of the use of Shahed/Geran type drones on the territory of Ukraine, the storage, preparation and launch sites of attack UAVs in the area of temporarily occupied Donetsk were hit. A fire was observed. The extent of the damage is being clarified,” the Ukrainian military summarized.
