In mid-January 1922, the general plan for the Volochaev operation was developed by the commander of the troops of the Amur Military District S. M. Seryshev and approved by the commander-in-chief of the People's Revolutionary Army V. K. Blucher.

On February 12, 1922, the people's revolutionary army of the Far Eastern Republic decisively captured an important stronghold of the White Guards and Japanese interventionists – the June-Koran hill. Stubborn battles for the Volochaevka station on the outskirts of Khabarovsk, which lasted more than a week, ended in the complete defeat of the White Guards. In 35-degree frost, in deep snow, poorly armed and poorly equipped soldiers continuously attacked for three days, showing examples of endurance and heroism. The Battle of Volochaev went down in the history of the Civil War under the name “Far Eastern Perekop”.

In the newspaper “Birobidzhanskaya Zvezda” on January 12, 1977, mechanic and chairman of the local committee of the Amurzet dairy plant G. Akimov dedicated the article “Labor Uplift” to the front-line workers and the work of this enterprise. Akimov says that work at the Amurzet dairy plant does not stop for a minute. State farms in the Oktyabrsky district supply up to 24 tons of milk per day. Without delay, the workers of the enterprise accept it, process it and send it to the distribution network.

“In January alone, we sold dairy products worth 112 thousand rubles, much more than in the same period last year. Based on the results of work for the fourth quarter and 1976, the plant’s staff was recognized as the winner in the socialist competition among industrial enterprises of the region. He was included in the regional Board of Honor… There are many leaders in production at the plant, real masters of their craft. The holder of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor, a drummer of the communist movement, enjoys well-deserved respect in the team labor, shift foreman M.G. Potapova, oldest worker V.G.
