
The author of the Ukrainian culinary YouTube channel “Smachno ta garneau vdoma” on December 18 told how to prepare a “Christmas wreath.”
The author of the blog noted that this recipe makes an incredibly light and very tasty holiday salad in the shape of a wreath.
“The main secret is the aromatic dressing, which makes the taste bright and rich without a drop of mayonnaise,” the food blogger announced.
Salad products
- 250 g lettuce leaves;
- 5 boiled quail eggs;
- 100 g cherry tomatoes;
- 150 g mussels;
- 100 g feta cheese;
- sesame;
- half an avocado.
Dressing ingredients
- 0.5 tsp. honey;
- 1 tbsp. l. soy sauce;
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil;
- 1 tsp. lemon juice;
- 0.5 tsp. spicy mustard;
- 1 tsp. mustard beans.
Preparation
- Place the lettuce leaves on a plate, placing a glass in the center to give the dish a wreath shape.
- Place mussels and quail eggs cut in half on top of the lettuce leaves.
- Sprinkle the avocado pulp with lemon juice and place on a plate.
- Roll feta cheese pieces in sesame seeds and place on lettuce leaves.
- Add cherry tomato halves.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients.
- Before serving, pour the sauce over the salad.
