In Uyar, the central road of the city was repaired after the intervention of the prosecutor (video)

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the prosecutor achieved the repair of the main street of Uyar.

The supervisory department noted that we are talking about Lenin Street, where the administration, school, hospital, house of culture and other important social objects are located.

“The Prosecutor of Uyar watched for more than one month how the central road on Lenin Street gradually became unusable. It more and more resembled a landfill for the test of SUVs than a civilized coating. Deep pits, dangerous potholes – all this not only spoiled the view of the city, but also threatened the safety of drivers. The promises of the local administration to fulfill their direct obligations to residents inspired hope, but dragged on for an indecently long term, ”the prosecutor’s office noted.

To protect the rights of hundreds of car owners, the prosecutor had to send a written submission to the administration with the justification of inaction by the norms of the law.

Local authorities pleaded guilty, but the repair did not start. Then the prosecutor's office went to court.

“The court did not have to wait a positive court decision. The court confirmed that the central road has long been in need of repair and there is no legal or objective reasons for it, ”the prosecutor’s office noted.

As a result, the city administration nevertheless repaired and put the way in order.
