In the Sovetsky district of Krasnoyarsk, a 60-year-old driver of the Barnaul company Stroytrans-22 LLC died during loading operations.
As the prosecutor's office said, everything happened this afternoon at the work site of another transport organization located in Svyazistov Passage, 2:
“It has been previously established that a Hino truck with a crane, owned by Teleport LLC, was moving auto parts into the back of the GAZon NEXT truck through the top. In the process, the heavy load overpowered the crane, causing it to tip over. The manipulator fell, crushing the driver who was in the back. He died on the spot from his injuries.”
According to the Investigative Committee, pplacing a load on the machine caused its body to deform and subsequently fall onto a worker who was in the immediate vicinity.
An investigation has been launched into this fact, during which all the circumstances of the incident will be established and an assessment will be made of compliance with labor protection legislation and the procedure for involving the deceased in work activities. Based on the results, law enforcement officers will take a set of response measures and a procedural decision.
