In the sector led by the PSD for 13 years, Daniel Băluță finished 3rd

In Sector 3 of the Capital, administered for many years by another PSD alderman, Daniel Băluță, the candidate of the social democrats in the partial local elections for Bucharest held on Sunday, finished only in third position.

After the centralization of votes from all sections of the Sector currently led by Robert Negoiță (294 sections), the ranking is as follows, according to the data published by the Permanent Electoral Authority:

  • Ciprian Ciucu (PNL): 39,081 votes – 32.5%;
  • Anca Alexandrescu (supported by AUR): 26,315 votes – 21.88%;
  • Daniel Băluță (PSD): 23,523 votes – 19.56%;
  • Cătălin Drula (USR): 20,166 votes – 16.77%;
  • Ana Ciceăla (SENS): 8,920 votes – 7.42%.

Robert Negoiță has been the mayor of District 3 of the Capital since 2012, having been constantly re-elected since that date.

The situation in the whole of Bucharest

After counting 1,288 minutes from the total number of 1,289 (ie 99.92%), Ciprian Ciucu obtained 211,471 votes, ie 36.17% of the votes cast from Sunday's elections.

The candidate ranked second, Anca Alexandrescu, supported by AUR, obtained 21.94%. The difference between the two is 83,178 votes, when the result from the last polling station in the Capital remained to be centralized.

Daniel Băluţă also ranked in third place for the whole of Bucharest, with 20.5%, and in fourth place is the USR candidate, Cătălin Drula, with 13.9%.

Ciprian Ciucu won the vote in five of the six sectors of the Capital.

In Sector 6, where the liberal is the mayor, Ciucu obtained 50.65%, and in Sector 1 he obtained over 40%.

Where Baluta won

Daniel Băluţă won the elections in Sector 4, where he is the mayor.

The Social Democrat won in Q4 with 27.58% of the votes cast. Ciucu ranked second in the sector led by Băluță, being voted by 27.28% of the voters.

Voter turnout at Sunday's election was 32.71%.
