“The most beautiful emerald dyes on Easter. We will need only two ingredients!” – noted in the publication.
For staining, onions and green are used.
Come in handy:
- eggs;
- onion husks (preferably dark color from red onion);
- gauze or nylon stocking;
- threads (any);
- green (a few drops);
- two tablespoons of salt;
- gloves (polyethylene or rubber).
The method of staining
- Grind the husk with scissors or in a blender.
- Moisten eggs in water and roll in crushed husk. Tighten on eggs with husk a stocking or gauze, tightly wrap with threads. Put cooked eggs in a pan with water, add salt and put on gas. Bring to a boil.
- When the water boils, add a few drops of green to the pan. Cook eggs for 7-10 minutes.
- Cool eggs. If time allows, you can leave them directly in painted water. Peel the eggs of a stocking and husk.
- For shine, grease the colors with a drop of oil.
