The recording, published on the X website by Nexta, shows an oval table at which representatives of Russia and the USA are sitting. The meeting is attended by President Vladimir Putin, his close associate Kirill Dmitriev and adviser Yuri Ushakov, as well as Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff and the American president's son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Vladimir Putin proud of Moscow

A conversation at the oval table in the Kremlin begins with an exchange of pleasantries. First, Vladimir Putin, using a translator, asks Witkoff if he managed to walk around Moscow. The American envoy replied yes. “It was a beautiful walk,” he replied to Putin.

In response, the Russian president emphasized that the Moscow authorities are proud of what they have managed to achieve in recent years to develop the capital. “I hope you were able to see it with your own eyes,” Putin said. “Yes, it's an amazing city,” Witkoff replied.

As the Nexta website points out, Putin's kind words and satisfaction appeared shortly after he warned Europe about war and announced that “Russia is ready even now” to start it. The President of Russia said these words during his speech at the economic forum in Russia on Tuesday. He also accused Europe of obstructing the peace talks led by Donald Trump.
