American President Donald Trump sent a special message on the occasion of Romania's National Day, in a letter addressed to his Romanian counterpart Nicușor Dan, stating that the United States of America has a partnership “strong, growing” with Romania.

President Donald Trump sent his Romanian counterpart, President Nicușor Dan, a message on the occasion of December 1, when our country marks 107 years since the Great Union of 1918.
The American leader praised Romania because it represents a “pillar of regional stability”. Donald Trump expressed his expectation that trade, investment and innovation opportunities will be expanded between the USA and Romania, the Presidential Administration from Bucharest communicated at the request of Antena3.ro.

I have the honor to extend best wishes on behalf of the people of the United States on the 107th anniversary of National Day on December 1.
The United States and Romania share a solid and continuously developing partnership based on strategic interests focused on security, energy cooperation, and trade. I appreciate Romania's leadership as a NATO ally and a pillar of regional security, and I encourage its constant role in promoting stability in the Black Sea region.
Building on this foundation, we expect to expand trade, investment and innovation opportunities that will boost our economies. Active diplomacy between our citizens remains the cornerstone of this dynamic alliance.
As my administration works to make America safer, stronger, and more prosperous, I aim to strengthen our close relationship and the history we share.”Donald Trump said.
Nicușor Dan, visit to the White House
Foreign Minister Oana Țoiu declared on Friday, November 21, that Nicușor Dan will go to the USA, in the first part of 2026.
“The visit of President Nicușor Dan to the United States is planned for the first part of 2026 and an official information will come from the presidential administration when the case will be. We have a consolidated strategic partnership. The US ambassador to NATO who recently came to Romania reiterated the fact that the US relies on Romania”declared Oana Țoiu at the time.
The announcement was made after Trump declared that “the relationship with Romania is very good”.
“The relationship with Romania is very good. I like the Romanians a lot, I think they are a great people” said Trump, during a conference with Viktor Orbán.
