The PNL vice -president, Alexandru Muraru, accuses the gold leaders that through their xenophobic speeches he feeds a climate of hatred that turns into violence on the streets.
The PNL vice -president and the leader of the Iasi branch, Alexandru Muraru, reacted hard on his Facebook page after a bangladesh deliverer was hit on a street in Bucharest. The Liberal argues that such episodes are not isolated accidents, but direct consequences of the instigator speech promoted by gold.
“Xenophobic violence is no longer a theory, but a brutal reality on the streets of Bucharest. He stressed that the victim, a man who worked honestly to earn his existence, was attacked just because he was a stranger.

In his opinion, the connection between the speeches of the golden leaders and the xenophobic aggressions is obvious, and the party's strategy resembles the methods used by the Kremlin.
“Let us not be illusion that this is an original idea. The gold agenda seems to be detached from the Kremlin manual: the proposal to prohibit foreign workers is a copy of a measure recently taken in Russia. It is a deliberate strategy to import insulation and intolerance, undermining the values of an open European society,” Alexandru Muraru wrote on Facebook.
The Liberal also made a comparison between the situation of the foreign workers in Romania and the desire of the Romanians in the diaspora to be respected.
“The contrast is obvious. While millions of Romanians want to be treated with respect abroad, Gold wants to turn Romania into a fortress of intolerance. To attack a man for his origin is not patriotism, it is a national shame,” PNL deputy pointed out.
At the same time, Alexandru Muraru pointed out that, although the aggressor will respond before the law, the moral responsibility for such facts must be on account of those who propagate hatred.
“The moral responsibility is much higher, to those who build the ideological scaffolding of hatred. Every xenophobic post of a politician is a brick at this scaffolding. It is time to call these hatred architects and ask for their account.” concluded PNL vice president.
