An extraordinary meeting of the government's National Security Committee will be held on Tuesday morning with the participation of military commanders, service chiefs and a representative of the president, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on Monday.

There were two incidents on the Warsaw-Lublin route. As a result of the first one, a section of tracks near the Mika railway station in the Garwolin district in Masovia was destroyed. In turn, near the town of Gołąb in the Puławy poviat in the Lublin region, due to a damaged railway line, the driver of a train carrying 475 passengers was forced to brake suddenly. Nothing happened to anyone.

The head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Marcin Kierwiński, announced on Monday during a press conference that the incidents were being investigated by the services. He also said that the case would be handled by a team consisting of representatives of the prosecutor's office, the Central Bureau of Investigation and the Internal Security Agency. Tomasz Siemoniak, coordinator of the special services, assured that the best officers and experts of the special services had been sent to investigate the matter. He emphasized that the probability that this is happening on behalf of foreign services is very high. – We will ensure that the perpetrators and those who ordered the attack are brought to justice in Poland – he emphasized. Donald Tusk was at the scene of the incident on Monday morning.

The Prime Minister announced the extraordinary meeting of the committee via the X portal. “Tomorrow morning there will be an extraordinary meeting of the government Committee for National Security with the participation of military commanders, heads of services and a representative of the president,” wrote the head of government.
