Former prisoners removed from Belarus. “They put them in the car and take them”

To leave Belarus, they were to be forced: Siarhiej Cichawuski – the husband of the leader of the Belarusian opposition of the Saint Cichanouuska, Aleh Hrzudziłowicz, Andraj Kuznieczyk, Alena Małuszuk, Natalla Dulina, Ihar Karoj, Kirył Bałachonaw and Siarhiej Szeleh. These people do not have citizenship of other countries – reports Belsat. After regaining freedom on June 21, they were taken to the border of Belarus and Lithuania. In the media, the political prisoners were emphasized that they could not choose whether they wanted to leave Belarus – adds “Wiasna”.
Human rights defenders with the “new repression tool” of Belarus
The release of 14 people June 21 is the result of an agreement with Keith Kellog, which met, among others For this purpose with Aleksander Lukashenko. People from Poland were also among the released. Saint Cichanouska, thanking the US administration, reminded that 1150 political prisoners were still waiting for the release of Belarusian prisons.
Now it turns out that eight Belarusian former prisoners have been expelled from the country. According to “Wiasny” it was a deportation without the official decision of the court or other body.
“The expulsion of political prisoners from the country takes place without an official court order or other authorization to deport. KGB officers put them in a car or bus and take them to the border with Lithuania” – we read in the organization's post on the telegram.
As “Wiasna” adds, Siarhiej Cichanuski was asked to “write on a sheet of paper that he had nothing against sending abroad.”
“This is not an act of goodness, but another tool of repression,” writes the “Wiasna” organization, emphasizing that “they are actually thrown out of the country” and that it is “contrary to the constitution and international law.”
