In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a man stole an electric scooter as a gift for his grandson

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the investigation into the theft of an electric scooter by a resident of Achinsk has been completed, reported the Achinsky Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
At the end of summer, a 67-year-old man noticed an electric scooter in a store parking lot. Not knowing that it was the property of the rental office and was being tracked, he decided to steal it. The attacker took the scooter off the stand and rolled it down the street.
The rental owner noticed the scooter was moving without payment and tried to stop the thief, but the man refused to do so. Then the woman contacted the police.
The police identified the man, who was drunk at the time of the offense. The man told police that he stole the scooter to give it to his grandson.
A criminal case was opened against him on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 1 art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Attempted robbery.” To date, the case materials have been transferred to the Achinsk City Court.
