The St. Petersburg assistant to the military commissar and his wife sent “dead souls” to the Northern Military District, and pocketed the payments under the contract for themselves
A 51-year-old military registration and enlistment office employee and his 38-year-old wife came up with an “ingenious” scheme. Through an acquaintance, a 41-year-old employee of the personnel department of a large energy company, the assistant to the military commissar fictitiously recruited citizens into the company, and then entered into a contract on their behalf.
At the same time, no one was sent to SVO, but payments were made regularly – the fraudster and his wife received 500 thousand rubles from each “contractor” at a time and 50 thousand monthly. So far, the investigation has found two fake servicemen, but there may be many more “dead souls”.
A case was initiated under the article “fraud”.
