When you need to quickly bake chicken, but want something new, it’s time to get a recipe from EAOMedia. Baked whole, with a rich herbal aroma and a spicy filling, the chicken turns out so tasty that it disappears from the table in a matter of minutes.
Ingredients:
- Whole chicken – 1 carcass
- Butter – 50 g
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Lemon – 1 piece
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Herb mixture – thyme, rosemary, basil
- Salt, black pepper – to taste
How to cook:
Rinse the chicken and pat dry with paper towels. Carefully peel away the skin of the breast so you can place the stuffing underneath.
In a bowl, mix soft butter, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Gently distribute the resulting mixture under the skin of the carcass in different places. Also place lemon slices and a couple of herb sprigs inside the chicken. Don't forget to rub the top of the bird and drizzle with olive oil.
Then transfer it to a baking sheet and add potatoes or vegetables around it if desired. Bake in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for about 1–1.5 hours, periodically basting with the released juice.
The dinner will turn out incredibly juicy, with a delicious crust and aromatic filling. Bon appetit!
