During the investigation into the Justice Fund case, the prosecutor issued a decision to apply preventive measures and provide property security to PiS MP Michał Woś, the National Prosecutor's Office announced on Thursday. This includes: for the seizure of Woś's belongings in connection with the alleged misappropriation of PLN 25 million. The politician beat the bailiff who seized the account. “I managed to leave Żurek 12 groszy. Waldek, please don't cry,” wrote Michał Woś on Thursday on the X website.

This entry, according to KO MEP Krzysztof Brejza, meets the criteria of the crime specified in Art. 300 of the Penal Code. The point is to prevent or reduce the satisfaction of the creditor. Brejza informed that he had submitted a report to the prosecutor's office in this case.

What should you have in mind, or rather what should you not have, in order to be a former deputy minister of justice or an MP and publicly boast about activities typical of bandits: criminal groups and serious thieves. Disgusting – wrote Krzysztof Brejza.

The indictment against Woś, a politician associated with Solidarna Polska and former deputy head of the Ministry of Justice, was issued on Tuesday. Woś was charged with exceeding his powers and failing to fulfill his duties, consisting in transferring PLN 25 million from the Justice Fund for the purchase of Pegasus software for the CBA, in August 2024; the Sejm had previously revoked his immunity. At the end of September this year, the prosecutor presented Wosio with a decision to change the charges, consisting in supplementing the description of the act and partially modifying the legal qualification; it concerns, among others, about the allegation of misappropriation of property in the amount of PLN 25 million. Woś faces one to 10 years in prison. (PAP)
