Trump: Huge numbers of tankers are coming for our oil

US President Donald Trump wrote on Saturday that a huge number of completely empty tankers were flowing to the United States to load American oil and gas.

A huge number of completely empty tankers, some of them the largest in the world, are currently heading to the United States to load the best and “sweetest” oil (and gas!) in the world. His post comes as the US and Iranian delegations are meeting with Pakistani mediators in Islamabad to seek a permanent end to the war.

Trump said earlier this week that Iran should not collect fees on tankers passing through the blocked Strait of Hormuz. Its blocking by Iran in response to the US-Israeli military operation against that country launched on February 28 contributed to significant disruptions in oil supplies and, as a result, to an increase in oil prices.
