A Krasnoyarsk woman who decided to get rid of the unwanted offspring of her dog became involved in a criminal case of cruelty to animals. The regional prosecutor's office spoke about this.
In June of this year, a 33-year-old resident of one of the hostels' dog gave birth to seven puppies. In order not to burden herself with caring for unwanted pets, the woman decided to throw them out the window. The puppies died from falling from the sixth floor.

“I didn’t have the courage to drown them in a bucket, but I thought throwing them out the window was a simpler way to solve my problem,” the Krasnoyarsk woman explained her action.
A criminal case has been opened regarding cruelty to animals, resulting in their death (clause “e”, part 2 of article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
