An abandoned truck was removed from Shakhterov Street in Krasnoyarsk

March 24 10:52
Since the beginning of this year, 6 have already been removed from the streets of the Central District of Krasnoyarsk abandoned cars, the administration said.
Two vehicles were moved to a special parking lot at the expense of budget funds; a Volvo truck on Shakhterov Street had to be removed using a tow truck. The remaining cars were removed by the owners after notification of the upcoming removal.
Currently, work continues on another 12 cars parked on the streets of Dmitry Martynov, Dubrovinsky, Paris Commune, Republic and others. The deadlines required for them to be considered abandoned have not yet expired. You can find out which cars will soon be moved to a special parking lot on the city hall website.
“We are consistently clearing the municipal territory of abandoned equipment of any size – from cars to trucks and buses. I would like to remind owners: it is much wiser to remove the vehicle yourself than to later compensate for the costs of removing it. Practice shows that most car owners already understand this,” said Head of the Central District Administration Dmitry Bezrukikh.
Let us remind you that, by law, a vehicle can be considered abandoned if it has not been used for more than 30 days, it is missing wheels, body parts, glass, etc. The commission examines the car and draws up a report, the data is sent to the police. To find the owner, a notice will be placed on the car itself, and will also be published in the City News newspaper and on the city administration website. After this, the owner will have 30 days to get the car in order. If the process of searching for the owner does not lead to results, the car will be sent to a special parking lot. To return, owners will need to reimburse moving costs, as well as present a passport, ownership documents and documents for the car.
