Property owners have until October 15. Then high penalties

So far, 300 residents of the capital have already benefited from the abolition program of the Municipal Water and Sewage Company (MPWiK). It is addressed to owners and users of real estate in Warsaw and nearby towns, such as Piastów, Pruszków, Michałowice, Raszyn, Nieporęt, Wieliszew and Serock. The condition for participation is to voluntarily report illegal sewage or water connections.
People who register by October 15 can count on significant savings. MPWiK exempts applicants from the costs of connection verification, which are over 2.4 thousand PLN gross for the water supply connection and over PLN 3.5 thousand. PLN gross for the sewage system.

Moreover, the reporting owners will avoid penalties for previously using the services without an appropriate contract. Fees will be charged only from the date of submission of the amnesty application.
Last moment to report illegal connections
How to handle this matter? The legalization process is simple, but requires meeting certain conditions. The application for amnesty can be submitted in person at the MPWiK customer service department (pl. Starynkiewicza 5 or ul. Zarusskiego 4 in Warsaw) or via e-mail to [email protected].
After submitting the application, the company will analyze the technical condition of the connection based on the documents provided. It will then send a letter to the customer describing the next steps to be taken within three months. Failure to meet the conditions on time may result in cutting off the water supply or closing the sewage connection.

It is worth taking advantage of the amnesty program because: After the deadline for notifications, MPWiK will start charging fines. This is not only an opportunity to avoid them, but also the opportunity to save thousands of zlotys on costs related to verification and current use of water supply and sewage services.
