The preliminary cause of the explosion in the Alania Mall shopping center in Vladikavkaz is a gas leak in the Nebo restaurant on the third floor. Locals say that before the emergency they smelled gas in the air.
Firefighters on site deployed a ladder to extinguish the fire from the outside and have immediate access to the fire.
Debris from the explosion damaged two cars in the parking lot.
