Unemployment registered at the end of 2026 is to amount to 4.9 percent. at the end of the year. Pursuant to the Constitution, the budget should go to the President to signature within 4 months from the date of handing over the draft budget act to the Sejm. If this does not happen, the president may order shortening the term of office of the Sejm within 14 days. The Basic Law provides that the president signs the budget within 7 days. (PAP)
