A resident of the Krasnoyarsk Territory paid 1.5 million rubles in alimony under threat of criminal proceedings

Bailiffs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory obtained the repayment of a large alimony debt from the mother of two minor children. The woman, who had been avoiding payments for a long time, fully repaid the debt in the amount of 1.55 million rubles only after the initiation of a criminal case.

According to the federal service, the debtor led an antisocial lifestyle, did not have an official job and did not maintain contact with children. Despite being brought to administrative responsibility, she continued to hide from the bailiffs.

After search activities, the woman was found at her partner’s home and taken to the bailiff department. After the initiation of a criminal case under Article 157 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (malicious evasion of alimony payments), the debtor fully repaid the multi-million dollar debt to her children.
