Ukrainian children who returned from the occupied territories will be paid “lifting”


“The state introduced a one -time monetary assistance in the amount of 50 thousand UAH for each child who will return after deportation, forced movement or from temporarily occupied territories,” the report said.

They emphasize that these funds will help parents or legal representatives of the child create appropriate conditions for his adaptation and reintegration in Ukraine.

Help will not affect the amount of other social payments or subsidies, the ministry adds.

The Ministry of Social Policy recalls that for the return of the child they draw up an individual plan. It is noted that he covers not only his way home, but also a set of services necessary for his successful reintegration in Ukraine.

“Support after returning is an individual for each child. The measures plan include three packets of assistance: short -term, medium and long -term. Depending on the needs, the child receives social, medical, psychological, rehabilitation, legal services, in the absence of a family, is arranged in a family form of education. The child’s family receives the necessary support,” the Ministry of Social Policy receives the necessary support.

On April 27, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted a resolution in which the deportation of Ukrainian children was called genocide.
