In the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk today there was a fire in a residential multi-storey building on Vilsky Street, 16. The residents had to be evacuated.
As reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, in 5:45 An electrical panel in the entrance on the 4th floor caught fire, and the fire began to spread along the cable.
“78 people were able to evacuate from the house on their own, the rest needed the help of rescuers due to dense smoke from the 5th to 10th floors. Emergency Situations Ministry employees took 56 people up the stairs, including 4 children. Three more were rescued using a ladder truck,” the ministry said.
The fire was extinguished in 8:22 on an area of 35 square meters. According to preliminary data, it occurred due to an electrical short circuit.
