Krasnoyarsk residents are invited to the opening of the skating rink on Strelka

In Krasnoyarsk, on November 14, the opening of the fifth, anniversary season of the skating rink on Strelka will take place.

The mayor's office said that on Peace Square everything is ready for the grand opening of the ice rink. It will begin with a festive program at 19:00 on Friday.

“Guests will be treated to a spectacular show. For the first time on ice, circus acts with acrobatic elements on skates and pyrotechnics will be presented, a choir will perform and mass dance numbers will be shown. At 20:00, public skating will begin, which will take place in two sessions of 90 minutes each with a technical break for processing the ice surface. During public skating, participants will be treated to drawings, quizzes and gifts from the skating rink’s partners,” the press service reported.

In the relaxation area you can drink coffee or tea, change your shoes and use free lockers for storing things. In the rental area, skates are placed on special racks with a drying and disinfection system.

“Despite the warm autumn, we are opening the season of winter entertainment on ice for the citizens and guests of Krasnoyarsk. At the opening, we will share the true stories of Krasnoyarsk residents related to ice skating, which will become the basis of the holiday,” said Vladimir Lebedev, deputy director of Krasgorpark.

From November 15, the skating rink operates according to the usual schedule: on weekdays from 12:00 to 22:00, on weekends and holidays – from 9:30. Duration of sessions is 90 minutes, break is 30 minutes.

Ticket prices remain the same: admission to a session on weekdays is 270 rubles, on weekends and holidays – 420 rubles. Skate rental (sizes 25 to 47) – 250 rubles, assistant skater – 300 rubles. A discount ticket costs 125 rubles. For children under 6 years old admission is free. Tickets will be sold at the box office. Details can be found on the Krasgorpark website.
