“I don’t have much time to feel anything, honestly. From the very beginning it was difficult, like for all people, to realize what was happening. But it became part of our life. It’s a pity that this happened,” said the head of state.
Zelensky noted that he believes in the coming of peacetime in Ukraine. He named what the cessation of full-scale Russian aggression depends on.
“It depends on how ready the allies are and how quickly they will support us. Quick steps are needed. When missiles and Shahed are flying, if you don’t have quick responses to defend, you will be destroyed. The same with [нелегитимным президентом РФ Владимиром] Putin: he needs to be stopped, and quick steps are needed,” the president concluded.
In the same interview, he said that the world was convinced that Ukraine had “cards”, and also assessed the readiness of Ukraine’s allies for a third world war.
