Krasnoyarsk residents can apply for participation in the competition “Magic ice of Siberia”

In Krasnoyarsk, the acceptance of applications for participation in the festival-contest “Magic Lod of Siberia” started, the city hall said.

Until November 1, the organizers accept applications for participation from professional masters. These are experienced sculptors from Russia and foreign countries. They will fight for the title of the best in two nominations: “snow” and “ice”. Snow sculptures can be performed on a free topic, and ice sculptures offer to make in one of the directions – “realism” or “abstraction”.

The participants can become teams of masters of three people, all of them should be over 18 years old. The participation of teams from Mongolia, China, Belarus, Kazakhstan and South Korea is expected. They have already received an invitation to the festival.

Before starting work, the competitive commission will select the best sketches of 10 snow and 20 ice sculptures. Professionals will create their work from January 12 to 17 on the central embankment. Also, for the first time, the work of the competition will be placed on theater square.

Also, until November 1, applications are accepted from young sculptors – students and students of art universities, colleges, schools not only of our region, but also of other cities of Russia. The organizers will choose only 10 teams that will present the best sketch projects. The main condition is that the team should have two people aged 16 to 35 years. Young people will be implemented by young people from January 6 to January 6 on the central embankment.

Applications for participation in the festival are also accepted from Krasnoyarsk families. One of the conditions of the competition of family competitions is that children take part in the creation of work. In total, the competitive commission will choose 10 teams that will sculpt compositions from snow on the central embankment.

Children will be able to compete in the ability to create ice sculptures. The organizers are waiting for applications from students of art schools and art schools aged 10 to 16 years. 10 children's teams will work under the clear leadership of professionals.

Competitions among family and children's teams will be held on January 7 on the central embankment. Sketch projects are expected from them until December 8.
